Weapon skins are visual enhancements to current available ones, which are sourced from owning Green Weapon Boxes. These items could be purchased with in-game points or gained for free from daily challenges, completing certain events, winning a matchmaking game (random), or spending a certain amount of cash points (specific events). The glowing and shiny variants are not purchasable, but given out during events or unboxed from clan rewards box.
While the green weapon boxes provide mainly grade-C skins, the glowing weapon boxes contain grade-Bs or grade-As, while the shiny weapon boxes guarantee only grade-As, making it the rarest among them all.

When there are an excess number of skins of the same type, one could combine all of them in order to produce a single better result. By default, adding a maximum of FIVE camouflage weapons have the highest chance of fabricating a designed finish weapon.
In addition, certain "hidden" weapons are able to be crafted as a result of combining several skin comprising different finishes. The HK MK23, which is neither sold nor found elsewhere is discovered through the fusion below:
Materials, on the other hand are synthesized in a different manner. They are mainly used for applying a premium coating on existing designed finish weapons, after gathering six nuggets of gold, chrome, amethyst, snow or candy. Certain infusions (Snow and Amethyst) have a cosmetic function which upon killing enemies with them, would solidify their corpses. Images of such weapons could be found in the Gallery.
With a chrome ingot, throw in a chrome plating along with two grade-A weapons of the same type and a chrome-plated weapon could be yours! This upgrades the status from a grade-A to a grade-S firearm.
